Video Conferencing and Phone Sessions
Although Telehealth sessions are not the same as a face to face session (since you will not be in the same room as I), they can have potential benefits including easier access to care and the convenience of meeting from a location of your choice within the boundaries of the State of California. There are also potential risks to telehealth practice technology, including interruptions, unauthorized access, and technical difficulties. Rest assured that as a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) provider I am taking all protective measures to ensure your confidentiality is maintained and secure. At this time I use SimplePractice and Zoom for telehealth sessions.
