Insurance

I do not accept private insurance. This means that if you have insurance I would be considered an out of network provider with an insurance panel.

I am happy to provide receipts also known as “Superbills” for services already paid by you so you can pursue reimbursement through your insurance company, if allowable.
Although I am happy to assist your efforts to seek insurance reimbursement, I am unable to guarantee whether your insurance will provide payment for the services provided to you.
  • It is important that you contact your insurance company before you meet with me to inquire as to whether they will reimburse you for our sessions

  • You should be aware that insurance plans generally limit coverage to certain diagnosable mental conditions. You should also be aware that you are responsible for verifying and understanding the limits of your insurance coverage.

Questions to ask your insurance company

  1. Am I covered for Mental Health services?

  2.   Do I have a separate deductible for mental health?

  3. How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  4. What is the coverage amount per therapy session for an out-of-network provider? (you may need to provide my zip code, 93101, or the procedure code, 90837 or 90834)?
